Shri Guru Bhagwat can be valued as a book elucidating different aspects of the religious and spiritual beliefs and practices. This is what makes this ‘magnum opus’ so unique.

In Odia and other regional languages of India, such a book is rarely to be found that focusses explicitly on the centuries old Guru-Shishya tradition comprehensively.

Influenced by the book, non-Odia speaking people have started learning Odia as a language since about a decade. Non-Odia singers from other regions of India have musically rendered verses from Shri Guru Bhagwat in Bhubaneswar during an event.

Shri Guru Bhagwat is being regularly read, recited, sung, and discussed at many places in India and abroad which include Bhagwat Tungis (small places of religious congregation), temples and other places dedicated for such purpose in different parts of India and in different languages. Abroad also, it is being studied and recited in places like Santa Barbara, Chicago, Seattle, Bellevue in USA.

Discussion, dramatization, and musical renditions of portions of Shri Guru Bhagwat in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Assamese, Odia, Telugu, Punjabi, and Rajasthani language have also taken place in the process.
